Tarphy is a multi-genre author. She wrote her first story when she was 6 or 7, called "Upside Down World". While she no longer illustrates her stories with crayons, she still loves creating fantasy worlds. Horror, science fiction, and fantasy are her first loves, but nothing is off the table when it comes to writing.
She's married, has 4 cats, 3 birds, 2 adult children, and 1 roommate.
She loves nature photography, cosplay, all types of music, NFL football and drawing portraits. She graduated with honors from Wayne State College in Nebraska, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a double major in Finance and Accounting.
